Before he came to Triple H, four-year-old Isaac had tremendous difficulty speaking because of autism. In fact, he could barely speak at all. Regular speech therapy was not doing much for him when our therapy horse, Hannah, chose Isaac to be her student. Hannah, a very large and very gentle Shire, stands 18.2 hands (over 6 feet tall) and weighs 1,465 lbs. She loves to help young children gain confidence and meet their therapeutic goals very quickly. After only 4 weeks of therapy, Isaac can speak many more words much more clearly. His parents are thrilled with his progress and know that he will do much better in school and traditional speech therapy thanks to his bond with Hannah. His mom said, "Isaac loves to come out to ride Hannah! This is his happy place, and every week his speech improves. Hannah and Triple H are such a blessing."
